The estate farms its Keuper and Muschelkalk (shell limestone) soils biodynamically, harvesting by hand and fermenting with native yeasts in traditional large oak Stückfässer (casks) before bottling without fining or filtration. The 2023 vintage in Franken yielded beautifully ripe, concentrated fruit with great structural acidity.
