Domaine Dupeuble has been running almost continuously since 1512 in the hamlet of Le Breuil in southern Beaujolais, now managed by siblings Ghislaine and Stéphane Dupeuble. The estate spans 100 hectares, about 40% vineyards, with old vines ranging from 50 to 100 years old planted on granite, clay, and limestone soils. Grapes are hand-harvested and vinified naturally using whole-cluster carbonic maceration with native yeasts and zero added SO2. The wines are not chaptalized, filtered, or degassed. Farmed using lutte raisonnée methods with no synthetic chemicals or fertilizers. Imported by Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, consistently regarded as one of the best values in Beaujolais.

What is natural wine?
Natural wine is wine made with minimal intervention from the winemaker, using organically or biodynamically grown grapes and without the addition of chemicals or additives such as sulfites. The result is a wine that is unique, expressive, and often has a more complex and nuanced flavor profile than conventional wines. Natural wine is also often associated with sustainable and ethical farming practices, making it a popular choice for those interested in environmentally friendly and socially responsible products.
