The Producer
Domaine Mosse is an iconic natural wine estate situated in St-Lambert-du-Lattay in the Anjou region of the Loire Valley. Originally founded by Agnès and René Mosse—who left a wine bar in Rennes to learn winemaking in Burgundy—the 17-hectare domain is now seamlessly run by their sons, Sylvestre and Joseph. Certified organic and farmed with biodynamic principles, the estate sits on complex schist, sandstone, and volcanic soils. In the cellar, Sylvestre and Joseph carry on the family tradition of strict low-intervention winemaking: native-yeast fermentations, aging in neutral oak barrels and concrete tanks, no fining or filtration, and minimal sulfur additions.
The Wine
"Magic of Juju" Blanc is Domaine Mosse’s vibrant, thirst-quenching white cuvée, named as a tribute to their family and close friends. Sourced from organically farmed Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc vines planted on schist and gravelly clay soils, the hand-harvested grapes are vinified naturally using wild yeasts. The Chenin provides weight, structure, and classic Anjou minerality, while the Sauvignon Blanc brings explosive aromatic freshness and snap. Aged on fine lees in neutral vessels and bottled unfined and unfiltered, the 2024 vintage masterfully balances ripe orchard fruit and citrus zest with a mouthwatering, chalky Loire acidity.

What is natural wine?
Natural wine is wine made with minimal intervention from the winemaker, using organically or biodynamically grown grapes and without the addition of chemicals or additives such as sulfites. The result is a wine that is unique, expressive, and often has a more complex and nuanced flavor profile than conventional wines. Natural wine is also often associated with sustainable and ethical farming practices, making it a popular choice for those interested in environmentally friendly and socially responsible products.
