The Producer
Châteauneuf-du-Fargosonini is an avant-garde, micro-producer and natural winery based off-the-grid in Central California. Founded by filmmaker Alejandro Fargosonini and choreographer Andrea Spaziani, the project centers on radical low-intervention winemaking, old-world ancient techniques, and a core mission to upcycle high-quality organic fruit that would otherwise go to waste in the supply chain. Working out of an RV and living among their vines, the pair farm over 70 grape varieties (including hybrids) alongside upcycled stone fruits, apples, and berries. In the cellar, they embrace a wild, zero-zero philosophy: relying exclusively on ambient native yeasts, no fining, no filtration, and zero added sulfites to create vibrant, living beverages.
The Wine
"No Fuzz No Love" is an experimental, highly prized botanical fruit wine made entirely from 100% upcycled organic nectarines—a nod in its name to the fuzzless stone fruit. Sourced from an abandoned orchard destined to be pulled out, the nectarines are crushed and spontaneously fermented using wild yeasts. The extended skin and pit contact gives the wine a golden amber glow, subtle structural phenolics, and a textural mouthfeel reminiscent of a fine skin-contact Chardonnay or orange wine. Beguilingly complex, the cuvée masterfully pairs a fragrant bouquet of bruised orchard fruit, citrus peel, and wild botanicals with a driving, sour-tart natural acidity, soft oxidative notes, and a long, savory finish.

What is natural wine?
Natural wine is wine made with minimal intervention from the winemaker, using organically or biodynamically grown grapes and without the addition of chemicals or additives such as sulfites. The result is a wine that is unique, expressive, and often has a more complex and nuanced flavor profile than conventional wines. Natural wine is also often associated with sustainable and ethical farming practices, making it a popular choice for those interested in environmentally friendly and socially responsible products.
