The 2022 "La Bamboche" White is actually an incredibly unique skin-contact expression that subverts traditional white winemaking rules. Hand-harvested from mature Chenin vines rooted in the classic clay and limestone matrix of the Loire, the whole grape clusters undergo an anaerobic carbonic maceration for roughly three weeks. This unusual skin contact coaxes out a light golden-amber hue, pulling texturized phenols and slight skin tannins into the juice while completely leaving heavy, angular extraction aside.
