Region: Loire Valley, France
Grapes: Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Pinot Gris
Body: Light-bodied
Notes: Bright and juicy, bursting with fresh fruit such as nectarine, ripe peach, and hints of floral and mineral lift—zero-sulfur, unfined, and highly glou-glou in spirit.
Pairing: Great with fish, crudités, barbecued vegetables, and more—versatile, fresh, and playful.
Additional Info:
This cuvée is part of the Les Vins Pirouettes collective, initiated by celebrated Alsatian winemaker Christian Binner to empower organic and biodynamic growers to craft and market their own wines, instead of selling grapes to cooperatives. This particular blend was crafted by winemaker Pierre Bannwarth (of Domaine Laurent Bannwarth), who joined the project in 2022. Grapes are hand-harvested, directly pressed, and fermented using native yeasts, followed by six months aging on fine lees in stainless steel. The result is a glou-glou-ready, vibrant expression of Loire terroir driven by joy and authenticity.

What is natural wine?
Natural wine is wine made with minimal intervention from the winemaker, using organically or biodynamically grown grapes and without the addition of chemicals or additives such as sulfites. The result is a wine that is unique, expressive, and often has a more complex and nuanced flavor profile than conventional wines. Natural wine is also often associated with sustainable and ethical farming practices, making it a popular choice for those interested in environmentally friendly and socially responsible products.
