Grapes: Gelber Muskateller, Muscat Ottonel, Scheurebe, Sauvignon Blanc
Body: Light-Medium
Tasting notes: Pure elderflower, white flowers, aromatic musk, lychee, pear, gentle tannin grip
Pairing: Thai food, Vietnamese rolls, light salads, aperitif, soft cheeses
The Rosner family has been making wine in Langenlois — the Kamptal's central wine town — since 1897. Stefan Rosner joined his father Norbert in 2014 and now leads the estate, working out of a tiny underground cellar cut into stone beneath one of the oldest vineyards in Langenlois. Certified organic since 2010, every parcel is processed separately on loess and primary rock soils. Stefan created the "Wildrose" series as a playful low-intervention line named for the wild rosehips that grow at vineyard edges — untamed and natural. The Bouquet is a skin-contact field blend of Gelber Muskateller, Muscat Ottonel, Scheurebe, and Sauvignon Blanc, fermented on skins with indigenous yeasts and aged in stainless steel. Unfined, unfiltered, barely sulfured (~20 mg/L). The result is pure elderflower in a glass — aromatic, mild, supremely easy-drinking, with just enough tannic grip from the skin contact to keep things interesting. If you love the idea of an orange wine but want something gentle and approachable, start here.

What is natural wine?
Natural wine is wine made with minimal intervention from the winemaker, using organically or biodynamically grown grapes and without the addition of chemicals or additives such as sulfites. The result is a wine that is unique, expressive, and often has a more complex and nuanced flavor profile than conventional wines. Natural wine is also often associated with sustainable and ethical farming practices, making it a popular choice for those interested in environmentally friendly and socially responsible products.
